Rev. Carey Anderson Announces Bid For 30th District State Rep.
Rev. Carey G. Anderson of First A.M.E. of Seattle (FAME) has announced that he is running for the seat vacated by State Rep. Jesse Johnson of the 30th District. Last week, Johnson announced that he will not be seeking re-election so that he could focus on his family. In a statement, Johnson said, “”After careful consideration, I have decided to finish out my term through the end of the year and not seek re-election in 2022 so that I may focus on my family. As tough a decision as this was, I am at peace because family is what is most important to me and that is what needs my full attention the most right now.” ...
